Students who successfully complete both the theoretical and practical assessment components of this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:

RSA Certificate of Completion

In Victoria, you need an RSA Certificate of Completion to work in many licensed venues. To receive your RSA Certificate of Completion, you must complete the following:

  • An LCV approved RSA course (this course)
  • The LCV online course - Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond

When you have completed your LCV approved Nationally Accredited course with 1SDO Training, we will upload your completion details to Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) within 7 Days

Your Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment will be available in your 1SDO Training portal.

LCV will then send you an email, with your certificate number and details to log in to complete your additional online module on Sexual Harassment and Assault.

When you have completed your online module, you can then download your Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) RSA Certificate of Completion which you can present to your employer.

NOTE: As of 1 December 2025, you will ONLY be able to obtain your RSA Certificate of Completion from the Liquor Control Victoria online portal

RSA Refresher course

You need to complete an RSA Refresher course every 3 years to keep your certificate current. The refresher course is free and takes about 90 minutes to complete and is available online Liquor Control Victoria online portal

To access the course, you'll need your original RSA certificate number. It's on the bottom right of your blue RSA Certificate of Completion, or top right if your certificate was issued before 31 January 2023.

If you have lost your certificate, email contact@liquor.vic.gov.au including your full name, date of birth, date you completed the original course (on your 1SDO Training Statement of Attainment) and name of the training organisation (1SDO Training). They will verify your details and provide you the number by return email. Or you can call LCV on 1300 182 457

After you have completed the online LCV refresher course and the online LCV Sexual Harassment and Assault course, you can download and print your new certificate. Give a copy of this to your employer.

Course Delivery:

This course is delivered face-to-face at our Cheltenham Training Centre (accessible from Melbourne CBD and Bayside suburbs).

  • Location: Unit 2, 38 Christensen Street, Cheltenham VIC 3192 (Free parking available).
  • Classroom learning and assessment session: Approximately 6 hours.
  • Course Enrolment Window: All items must be completed on the day of training.
  • Assessments: Submitted through our online learning portal.
  • Learning Materials: Provided via our online learning portal.

    • Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the activities.

Prerequisite Units:

  • You will be required to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) Assessment as part of your enrolment process
  • There are no additional prerequisite units

Learner Requirements

To complete this course, you will need:

  • A computer or laptop with internet access.
  • A web browser (like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge).
  • A valid personal email address (shared addresses are not allowed). If you don't have one, consider creating a free Gmail account here.
  • Access to:
    • A digital camera or phone with camera facilities
    • A webcam or phone with video/audio facilities

All Registered Training Organisations are required, as a mandatory part of your enrolment process, to assess your language, literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy (LLND) skills.

We administer these tests online to verify if you have the necessary skills to complete this course. If you successfully complete these tests, you will be automatically allowed to complete your enrolment and pay for your course.

If your LLND level does not meet the requirements for the course, we will contact you to discuss the steps forward depending on the level assessed. This may include additional pre-learning material or a referral to a specialist LLND service.
